Sacha Ross, a contemporary twist using traditional fabrics
Sacha was Born in Limavady, Northern Ireland, a former Linen town where to this day evidence of the weaving shed and bleaching greens still remain in Roe Valley Country Park.
In her early twenties Sacha moved to the Scottish Borders royal burgh town of Peebles, renowned for its tweed. It’s hardly surprising then that she would find a love for both of these traditionally woven fabrics. Since 2001 Sacha has been refining her skills, designing, producing and creating textile arts and crafts. In 2014 she left Peebles for Perthshire where she worked for the UK’s Leading Scottish Country Clothing Specialist, The House of Bruar. During her time there it was hard not to be inspired by the Country Clothing she was surrounded by every day, and so in her spare time Sacha continued to design pieces and store away her ideas. In 2017, after many family holidays there, a long held dream of moving to rural France became a reality, where Sacha had already discovered it’s fine linens.
Fast forward to 2019 and spending the year between The Scottish Highlands and Central France it was time to launch something new.
The Sacha Ross brand is her own rethinking of traditional styles with a contemporary twist using Luxury Harris Tweed and Fine French Linen.
